Louis Pasteur is a scientist, chemist, physicist, biologist and pioneer in microbiology.  In 1860 he developed pasteurization, a process for preserving food, and in 1879 he discovered the principle of the vaccine.

Marie Curie is a physicist and chemist. In 1903 she and her husband received the Nobel Prize for their research on radiation. In 1911 she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for her work on polonium and radium. Marie Curie is the first woman to win a Nobel Prize.

Blaise Pascal is a mathematician, physicist and inventor. In 1641 he invented the first calculating machine, known as “pascaline”. This machine allows you to add and subtract.

Roland Moreno, a self-taught electronics enthusiast, is well known because he invented the smart card in 1974. This smart card is used in bank cards, SIM cards, etc.

André-Marie Ampère is a mathematician, physicist, chemist and philosopher. He made important discoveries in the field of electromagnetism. He invented the terms “current” and “voltage”, his name was given to the international unit of the intensity of the electric current: the ampere.

The Lumière brothers are engineers and industrialists. They created the cinematograph: the first camera that can project and shoot films. Louis shot the first film in the history of cinema with this camera “La sortie des usines Lumière”.
